Detention Adventure follows a band of amateur treasure hunters made up of three young scientists and one street smart troublemaker, who must team up to solve mysteries in and around their school and hometown of Brantford. Their first clue is in their school’s detention room, leading them to use their science tricks to land themselves in trouble with their exasperated principal. Riddles and puzzles reveal a hidden room beneath their school that makes them local celebrities, and sends them hunting for a lost fortune based on their findings. After solving the mystery of Ignatius Cockshutt’s secret treasure, a mysterious benefactor offers them a clue that leads them to an educational camp - and the hunt for Lawren Harris’ lost painting. Along the way they make new friends, learn to better understand themselves and each other, and face emotional choices about their futures.
